Tramec signs a strategic partnership with Mitsubishi Electric for the development of next-generation high-efficiency gearmotors

We are proud to announce the new strategic partnership between Tramec and Varmec, companies of the Moonind Group, and Mitsubishi Electric, officially launched on May 22, 2025, with the aim of developing a new generation of ultra-high-efficiency gear motors. The partnership also involves Varmec, another company within the Moonind Group, specialized in the production of inline and shaft-mounted gearboxes, and represent a significant step forward in delivering increasingly high-performance and sustainable drive solutions, in line with the growing demand for energy efficiency across European markets.

As part of this agreement, Tramec will supply high-quality gearbox units for Mitsubishi Electric’s EM-A series of sensorless synchronous motors, which are rated IE5+ for their outstanding energy efficiency. This synergy reinforces the Moonind Group’s commitment to developing sustainable technologies aimed at optimizing energy efficiency in industrial automation systems.
